I needed a replacement for my very noisy heater for a suitable dining/living area of approx. 280 sqm. ft. My last heater worked, it was too loud and cost $100. I paid $80 for this electric fireplace and am so happy! I love the ambient light from the faux flame, love that it doesn't get hot on the top or sides but is secure on my carpet yet still heats up my spaces quickly. It's so quiet here! I work from home full time and no one hears it during my conference calls or zoom meetings. My dogs also love lying in front of it, like a real fireplace. 30+ day update: I am pleased to report that my electric bill is the same as previous heaters. I am very happy with this purchase so far.
