I have had several large and small wood stoves. It's the best because the heat can be adjusted and it's the perfect compact size with a kick for my bedroom. First day of use. No remote to check.

Having read the other reviews before buying this product I have to agree that the manufacturer needs to improve the leg attachment. A screw was in the leg mounting hole. We removed it and placed it in the appropriate hole, leaving the leg hole open. A hole for another leg assembly was not open. There was no hole, so the leg was attached with two screws instead of three. This is the only problem I have with this product. I look forward to enjoying this for many years to come.

I needed a replacement for my very noisy heater for a suitable dining/living area of approx. 280 sqm. ft. My last heater worked, it was too loud and cost $100. I paid $80 for this electric fireplace and am so happy! DO NOT buy this product. After contacting the seller of this fireplace heater to ask if it is normal for the heat to be so hot that it could burn the carpet or anything on it, they tried to say that this is normal as the vent is different located at the bottom of the device. This product is hazardous and flammable. This is being reported to the Consumer Product Safety Commission as they have stopped communicating with me about safety issues and do not believe the device I received is defective.

It radiates enough heat to warm a medium sized room while staying cool. I was concerned that the fan was near the carpet, but I turned it on all night and the carpet stayed at room temperature. Very happy with my purchase. Easy to set up, came earlier than expected. Flames and glowing embers look beautiful. I ordered this cute little fireplace stove to heat a small room in my house. I opened the box and at the bottom of the box were broken pieces of plastic and a window pane that was hanging on one of the doors. I tried to fix the pieces as there was a small piece holding the window pane in place. I put my feet on it. I have read all the instructions.
