Used like any other tape measure outdoors in low light conditions, possibly exposed to sawdust. But after a few days, his "slip" worsened. Rigid, grainy tape won't go back into the thing without my pressure. Disappointing, I wanted to like this thing and I liked everything about it. But now it's too hard to keep using it, had to take another one. Another note: the smaller 1/32 marks are for the first leg only, which is very bad. Sometimes that extra precision makes a difference. (Although the other side with the 1mm markings was still fairly accurate.) I will say the rest of the markings, use of paint etc were very good. I REALLY wanted to like this thing. Spring.
