Worked but only with a bit of ingenuity
We got this to fix the "foldout sofa bed double bars in the back syndrome". It didn't work with the pad put on the top, beneath the bottom sheet and mattress pad(and I was temporarily pissed), but IT DID WORK when we put it under the mattress, on top of the bars/springs - yes, really! Who would have thunk it!
- No need to purchase a new mattress for added comfort
- The topper may shift during the night, causing discomfort and uneven support
