Do yourself a favor and buy a genuine Apple charger! Every charger we've bought has either melted or the contacts have been burnt to a crisp. this one is no different! I literally had to sand down the charger to clean the burnt metal. Also, the contacts that supply power will bind or the spring will melt so they can't even reach the contacts on the MacBook Pro. Learn from my mistakes! I spent as much, if not more, on cheap, poorly made chargers like this that I had to keep replacing than buying an official Apple charger that's guaranteed to work and comes with a warranty! Don't buy this!
