Used on Sony A7 iii The manual focus ring is quite heavy. You don't have to worry about accidentally moving the focus ring. I've never been able to sharpen part of the frame with the aperture wide open. The sharpness is higher than 5.6. The images I got looked "dreamy" like someone had turned the sharpness slider to the left on LR. In the end the lens went back as it didn't suit my style of photography. However, if you're after a fast 50mm lens and don't mind soft images at a larger aperture and a heavy manual focus ring, there aren't many E-mount alternatives at this price point.
