My wife and I bought this for our son who is almost 3 years old (he will be 3 next week) because he is passionate about twisting and rolling anything he can get his hands on. We thought he would enjoy it, both indoors and outdoors. My mistake was that I didn't determine what they were made of (I was thinking plastic or even light wood) and unfortunately (see the picture attached to this review) he decided to make a snack out of foam. We caught him eating (hope he didn't swallow the foam) and now sadly that birthday present is in the trash. I am not writing this review to offend the manufacturer or the product but to warm parents or potential buyers - this is not intended for young children unless you will be watching them play 24/7. It might be a good idea for the seller/manufacturer to include something like "Caution, do not let your child play with this unsupervised" in the description. I gave 3 stars because: a) it looks like a fun toy unless the child chooses to eat it and the pegs and balls seemed to be made out of good quality foam. b) I believe that the seller/manufacturer should have a warning that this product is made of foam and may pose a potential risk to young children (note the description actually states an age of 3 to 12 years).
