This is the best umbrella ever. The main thing to remember when I get it to the car is that I can't flip (lift) it like I used to. Otherwise it's great. It's easy to flip and twist on the porch to get rid of excess water. It's easy to get up into a wash tub or tub to drain; You just have to remember not to put it where you don't want it. I've used it in heavy rain with gusty winds and it's holding up well (so far). I like the shape of the handle, very comfortable to wear on the wrist when hands are full. And it works exactly as described to keep things dry. Mine comes with a nylon sheath and I highly recommend it as an extra. The lid protects the printed side (which lies on the outside when folded) and compresses it to give it a more streamlined shape, and gives you a shoulder strap so it doesn't get in the way when you're not using it. one of those "why have we done it differently all these years" things.
