Despite good quality, poor construction (?)
Two negatives. First is the minor setback of the inside-linings "floof" (fabric tufts): After the first few uses + the first run through laundry, I'm finding puffy bits of the hat's inner layer randomly shedding in my hair, onto my shoulders, etc. I anticipate this will be common for the specific material used in this hat, so it might be "permanent" to this product. (IDK.) Second is the splitting of the inside lining's seam (see photo): After a couple days' usage despite the fabric tufts, I noticed that the gray/black layer also has a growing gap in the stitching. Hopefully this is just a fluke; but it appeared SO early in my usage, that I worry that the whole construction will fail soon.Apart from those 2 negatives (one minor, one potentially major) , I've really been impressed with these hats. They really are soft, warm, and well-sized. I recommend them, but with only 85% confidence that they will last through a whole season, let alone a whole year. Without that, I cannot say yet whether or not they are worth the price.Update 2/10/21: The stitches between interior lining and exterior fabric are coming undone on both hats, in multiple places. Because they have not received much use yet and are still coming apart like this, there's no reason to expect much life length to them, without supportive sewing. It's a shame really, and right now is less than 2 weeks past the time frame for requesting a refund/ returning.
