I ride my bike to the bus stop every day and am always afraid of being stolen. So recently I've been trying to find an alternative and this skateboard might be the perfect answer! The eggboard, or short longboard, is known for its cruiser-like stability and pennyboard-like portability. There are absolute beginner videos on YouTube and I've been training accordingly for 2 weeks. As you can see in the videos, tightening the tracks definitely makes balancing easier, but makes turning more difficult. For now I'm happy it's staying that way and I hope to loosen it up and enjoy the tight corners soon. Overall I think they are well built and suitable for beginners like me. It's light enough to carry around and small enough for a medium sized backpack. The only minor issue is probably the handles which need some sanding down to be comfortable to hold. Sandpaper took 5 minutes with excellent results. If you have the same needs as me, you should definitely try this skateboard.
