I'm a teacher, and I needed a new powerpoint clicker to replace my old one that went missing over summer. Thought this had a cool design, plus I liked the bluetooth option because my macbook only has usb-c inputs. Turns out that this remote is practically worthless. The range of both the bluetooth and RF connections is only about 10 feet (and that's a generous estimate). Wander outside this radius and the remote doesn't work, and when you wander back in it takes time to reconnect. The whole point of a powerpoint remote is NOT to be tethered to your computer, giving you freedom to walk around while presenting. Forget walking to the back of my medium-sized classroom - this thing won't connect when I'm more than a few steps from my computer. Shame, because I really liked the design - the remote actually fits comfortably on my (pretty large) fingers, and frees up my hand when holding markers, passing out papers, etc. With a more robust transmitter, this could be a great product. Unfortunately, the range is so limited that it is completely unusable.
