I built my stereo using my father's Technics SL-QD3 turntable, my father-in-law's Denon receiver and Polk floorstanding speakers. Everything was set up perfectly and I noticed a buzzing noise from the turntable. It's been a long time since I installed a stereo system, but I quickly noticed that there was no ground cable between the turntable and the receiver. So of course I went to Revain and found this cable within minutes which luckily listed my turntable model number as compatible. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today. I pocketed it and wa-la, the buzz was gone. I have my sandinista! Clash is recorded on a silver platter and it sounds incredible. It might seem a bit pricey for a cable, but it was a good deal for getting the most out of my stereo system.
