My son was wearing this bandage when he broke his collarbone. He was 7, it was a breeze and a hospital grade adult sling just wasn't up to it. I liked that this sling is adjustable the full length of the belt and the velcro never lost its velcro. It became much more comfortable on the neck - no redness! My son couldn't get over how soft he is! The hook for his hand/thumb held the elbow perfectly in place. We were very happy with this purchase and have already lent it to a neighbor. We used it with a Joslin Swathe immobilizer belt.
