Worth it even if the bobbin winder works

This bobbin winder came disassembled but was easy to put together. Contrary to the experience of some reviewers, I had simple instructions. I was worried the machine wouldn't work because there was no spacer in the box and the parts just shuffled around freely, but once assembled it worked like a dream. I've been sewing for 30 years and somehow I've never bothered to see an autonomous winding machine at work. He raises her so incredibly fast and perfectly. The machine is so solid and spotless, nothing moves. The only thing I literally didn't like was that the spool holder and line arm studs are larger than the rubber feet on the machine platform, so the rubber feet on that side don't touch the table. It still sits flat because the screws are on the same side of the platform, but instead of non-marring rubber feet on one side, you essentially have metal screws that can hurt as feet. Considering the machine doesn't rock, I doubt it actually damages the surface it's standing on. (From the picture it looks like I could screw it in further or take the stem out, but it's installed as flush as I could). Because of this thing's plain packaging and primitive looks, this is one of the best devices I've owned in terms of functionality and build. I bought this because I had a frustrating evening with my embroidery machine's bobbin winder, but seriously. Having now taken advantage of this, I will probably never again use the built-in winder on any of my other machines. I highly recommend this little thing.
