Review on πŸ”§ DeWalt DPG250 Vibration Reducing Premium Occupational Health & Safety Equipment by Raffy Baer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very well balanced gloves for medium duty garden work.

I needed work gloves that would protect my hands from scratches from tree branches and prevent that uncomfortable "piano string vibration" feeling in my palms that I so often feel after a long day's work with a power tool (just for my I'm no professional landscaper at home). I expect quality from DeWalt although they are no longer made domestically and these are quality gloves. The palm pad looks thin and small at first glance, but it really is a perfect spot to place the pad as it protects my hands from vibration. I think DeWalt needed to balance vibration protection with tool handling and you can see a lot of thought went into the development of these gloves. Thick leather work gloves may be more durable, but they don't have the padding or ability to perform highly skilled work. The material on the back is quite stiff, and I like the sweat-wicking terrycloth material, which you can use to dry your brows on hot days. I've also used them with some pretty serious hand-thin chisels while doing tile removal jobs and they've protected my hands well. After about 3 or 4 hours of chiseling I noticed that the skin on the fingers and palms was getting quite rough and yes I can pretty much predict where they will end up falling through/holing but for a good balance of cushioning and protection and ability do delicate work. I think these are very good gloves.
