I, like many people, rarely use thermoplastics. It took me a little to prevent the edges of my jeans from curling. The trick here is to follow the instructions and take your time. PROS: - They fit great and I'll have to see how many washes they last. - A good buy for the price and variety of colors. - A small thread, needle and 1 needle were included which was nice. CONS: -None of the shades of blue matched my navy blue jeans (regular color). Those applying them to the outside of denim should check the colors first. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. In order for them to stick (like most patches), you need to use very high heat. I followed all the instructions - the main thing is that there is a piece of paper between the iron and the patch. I once forgot to remove the paper backing from a patch and had to throw that piece away. They do their work for me. Like I said, follow the instructions so you don't iron the pieces together and ruin the iron. Those applying them to the outside of denim should check the colors first.
