This product clearly doesn't work

I don't know why anyone says this product works. Adult bikes cannot be supported; The bars are too small and the incline too shallow, they just fall off (no matter how you position the device/bike). We got on my girlfriend's mountain bike (medium sized men's bike) and had to stop my car 4 times to get it right. The bike on the rack worked better without the mount because we used a kickstand and strap combination. Hope this will be helpful.
