Do not use the built-in thermostat
Replace the built-in thermostat with an OEM, Murray or Stant thermostat. After installing this unit, the coolant temperature will fluctuate widely. Go from seeming overheated to normal in a few moments. With the weather approaching zero, the last thing we need to do is behave like this. The Murray thermostat was replaced with an aftermarket one and everything was back to normal. The build itself is fine and we appreciated the added sensors, but having to go back and work on it again was a bit of a drag.
