Autofocus is unstable. I had the latest lens firmware and A7c. AF is sluggish or inaccurate. On two copies of this lens. I found it boring, but after some serious troubleshooting, it often gets a little fuzzy. Autofocus, while silent, is audible and picked up by the camera's built-in microphone. Definitely not quiet. If you want top-of-the-line, absolutely silent autofocus and don't want to worry about sharpness, get the Sony 35.
