I was glad to get this chair to take pictures. All my photos are taken on the table and I'm tired of bending over to take photos. Most things I photograph are in the 5" to 16" range. This stool is taller than the seat of the chair and as I'm also short (5ft 3in) it's a bit tall for me and it doesn't go any lower. While I like to roll and the small base fits between my light posts, I really wish it was lower. I think it would be weird if it was taller because it doesn't have a footrest.
