I love this bag. I pull the strap out as far as it will go and the purse opening is just below my thigh bone. I love the slate gray color and unlike some other bags I've ordered the fringes didn't have to cling to the crimp and there was no weird factory smell. It's not flimsy, cheap-looking faux leather, and it actually held up very well after I had to use it to cover it up running to my car in the rain. The only thing I would change is the hardware from gold to silver or metal, but that's just my preference. i still love
