Review on Ardell Color Bottle Unred Ounce by Amber Adams

Found this little wonder by accident on a TV show about transfiguration. The beautician said she used UnRed to get rid of the red and brass in her coloring. I can't figure out why my last colorist never used it or mentioned it, but I'm glad I tried it. After dying gray hair red while lightening blonde hair, I used it as instructed. 10 drops for every ounce of dye. Since there are 2 ounces of paint in the bottle I added 20 drops. Please note that these drops will flow out quickly just by tilting the bottle! I started coloring and my hair color was BLACK. But, believing the reviews of others, I bided my time, washed off the shampoo and conditioner, and waited to remove my rolled hair towel. Do I stick with black hair? NO! I got the color I wanted. No grey, no red! Compared to what I usually get, I'm very happy with the results; I will always use UnRed when painting over gray hair. A very pleasant surprise in a great product. Thank you for this gift! Update: For some unknown reason I didn't use my UnRed with my homemade hair dye yesterday and bam! Deep shade of RED HAIR. So mad at myself. I'll try what other reviewers have recommended: I'll add UnRed to my shampoo/conditioner and hopefully take the edge off copper colored hair. I've learned my lesson. As mentioned above, I will never forget to use UnRed with any at-home hair color. Many thanks to UnRed for the proven red/copper hair treatment.
