Worked for me - Hair Dye

I used 15 drops per 2 ounces of color and it's enough for me. I should have used more product but it was enough to avoid the slightly brassy look that comes after the first two washes. I recommend this product and will buy it again.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Big and voluminous

love this stuff! on Hair Dye

Touching up the roots removes all the red tones. I use medium ash brown, white and golden blonde. Ash brown removes all pigments. I don't like that hard look.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Must add. Not without my hair color.

This product has really helped my hair get rid of the stickiness. After two colors, the hair became healthy and shiny again. I recommend 10 out of 10.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unreliable

Definitely the best product for removing red tones

I bought this and the rose gold color corrector. This is the first product I have found that is green and not purple. This makes sense if you know your color wheel. It's a very dark green, it looks black when you add it to your hair dye. I only use it in conditioner and it works very well. This is definitely the best product to get red tones.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • New competitors

Checked bottle cap

I have bought this product many times in a pack. That was my first bottle purchase. Since I still had the packets, I didn't use the bottle until unfortunately the return window closed. The problem was that the stopper was defective and not properly tightened. This will cause the liquid to leak out from under the cork. Very confusing. I hope that the second bottle I bought at the same time does not have this problem.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

A product I can't live without!

Found this little wonder by accident on a TV show about transfiguration. The beautician said she used UnRed to get rid of the red and brass in her coloring. I can't figure out why my last colorist never used it or mentioned it, but I'm glad I tried it. After dying gray hair red while lightening blonde hair, I used it as instructed. 10 drops for every ounce of dye. Since there are 2 ounces of paint in the bottle I added 20 drops. Please note that these drops will flow out quickly just by tilting

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Ardell UnRed and Mrs. Stewart's Blueing Keep the Orange Away

I have been using Ardell UnRed along with box paints and highlight kits for several years now. I dye my hair a light ash brown (I'm naturally light brown with about 30% grey) and use a highlighter set on top. Without adding UnRed to my blends my hair always looks quite orange. I've never had success with just adding UnRed to my shampoo or conditioner, or even applying it directly to my hair. That never worked for me. It might work on a blonde, but on a dark haired girl I need the stronger…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Frequency

hence it is best for correcting very light red hair

This is an essential product to have in your copper hair protection arsenal LOL :-) But it is equally important to know how one uses it. It's a dark green grayish color, so it works best on very light red hair. The product is so concentrated that it has a cloudy texture. Personally I have been very lucky with this product. I mix a small amount with a blue conditioner and add this combination to my hair color. Hair does not turn yellow after dyeing. You can also make a water-based spray. I…
