Review on Enhance Your Towing Experience with Camco 25653 Dual View Universal Clamp-On Towing Mirror by Jose Cox

Really surprised how well they worked

I have a 17ft hybrid trailer that I tow behind my Dodge Durango that doesn't have official towing mirrors. I bought these hoping they would help with my blind spots. I was worried driving on the freeway and they held on but they did a great job. Alone, the only problem I had was the positioning of the side mirror on the passenger side. I think I drove around the car a dozen times before dialing them even slightly. .So if you have someone who can push the mirror to adjust while you are in the driver's seat that would be ideal. It's difficult to do both. The mirrors held firmly to the track and there was only minor vibration. the end of an outburst when I used the mirrors for the second time. Breaks off about 3 inches from the end (I think I pulled at an odd angle). Luckily I was still able to use this strap. 2) The plastic buckles show stress too - you know how the plastic bends and leaves those white buck marks > well, this one had those. I hope I can at least squeeze the summer out of them. I suppose for the price I would ask for a lot more than one season.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
