Another great product from K&N. The kit was easy to install. Installation took about half an hour. This wasn't my first install as they are installed in all our cars. I also installed them in store, for friends, family etc. I installed this on our 17 Camaro SS with a heat barrier on the outside of the heat shield. The thermal barrier was purchased separately. I've never used it, but several other companies offer it on CAI. I figured it wouldn't hurt. I also bought and installed a K&N dry filter film. They help extend the life of the filters. This is what I've started using on all of our vehicles. It can be cleaned with the cleaning agent from the K&N Recharge Kit. Overall a great product and company that I will continue to use.
