Review on 🔧 MICROMETER Precision Machinist Tool by Anytime Tools by Will Schimmel

I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of this outside micrometer. I didn't expect it to live up to the claimed 0.0001 inch accuracy. After adjusting the 0-point scale and vernier scale (they were just a hair out of the box), I tested Anytime with multiple units of measurement, and they all turned out to be excellent. Also the 1" block is tested perfectly. How long this mic will hold up over time remains to be seen. Generally you get what you pay for. A heavy user like a machinist should probably get a Starrett or Mitutoyo micrometer Buy with proven reliability rather than expecting Anytime to last forever, but even the hobbyist who uses an outside micrometer only occasionally should be more than happy with this micrometer.
