These are lovely lights, very festive and attractive. They are of medium brightness, so they illuminate an area without seeming overbearing. It is nice that they are a sturdy kind of plastic bulb, means they are less likely to cause injury if one of them happens to shatter, which itself is less likely than with glass. The price is a little on high range, given that this strand is only 25 feet. Comparable strands are often 48 feet long, virtually twice the length. Also, these lights require an electrical outlet. They are NOT solar powered! For some that is a plus, as they don't automatically turn off and on, but it does limit their utility to a spot with an outlet. A 48 foot long strand of solar powered lights that look much the same cost only $10 more at Costco, so they are priced a little on the high side. If you just need 25 feet and have an outlet handy, they are very pretty and useful.
