Review on Rumia Electric Foldable Extendable Sanderpapers by Scott Ward

I'm a general contractor and got this for a project that needed a smooth wall finish over textured drywall. It is heavy and difficult to use on ceilings. The light is excellent, you get a very smooth and flat surface without scoring, the sanding discs supplied are of good quality. A #120 disc has sanded 1500 feet of texture to a degreased finish, including the removal of some painted imperfections, and is still in good condition. Dust pickup was poor initially, but I found a lot of grease in the insertion points of the extension tubes basically blocking the hole, and after cleaning, dust pickup is so-so. With the included dust bag, it doesn't get rid of dust in any way, but it does collect many pounds of dust in the bag. Vacuuming still removes quite a bit of dust, so basically I just used one bag. Don't expect your workspace to be dust-free! I'm particularly impressed with the quality of the finished surface, but also look forward to using the coarse pad to clean subfloors and any weathered wood.
