Very bright, just pay attention to the line difference - black = power, white = ground

They are very light and easy to install. They really light up the overhead cabinets on our sailboat and I used one in the engine room to replace an old dome light. It lit up the engine bay to the point where I don't expect to ever need to use a flashlight there again when doing an engine service. A note though: BLACK is POWER (not ground) and WHITE is GROUND. .
