I ordered this cable because it meets European Manufacturing Standards (ROHS) that reduce or eliminate lead in sheathing. You will notice that there is no California warning in the product description. Then you would be correct in assuming that since there is no CA warning there is no wire in the cable. However, a California warning label was attached to the cord (see image). There is no ROHS stamp on the cable itself (but there is a UL stamp). The cable came in packaging that indicates ROHS but of course means nothing as the packaging could be fake or counterfeit. Also, the model number is not printed on the cable. Either this cable is a fake, or the manufacturer is trying to mislead the buyer. PLACE a California chemical alert on your ad!
