Review on Solberg FS 10 075 Filter Silencer Diameter by Kirt Phillips

I bought this Solburg filter muffler to use with a single stage 60- Gallon Quincy Compressor which I use every day in my shop.The Quincy's factory fitted air intake leaves a lot to be desired if I say beautiful!As soon as I opened Solburg I could immediately see the quality of this product,the Finish is - good strong heavy powder coat, body clamps along with a good set of retaining tabs for filter mounting, the filter element itself is of the highest quality and made in America. After quickly replacing the old filter with a new muffler, a big moment of truth. Squeeze You flipped the switch and man was I really shocked. Before that the sound was nice overall dropping, nothing earthy and zero bottom It was different, but more importantly, it changed the harmonic frequency of the sound. The sound was super hoarse and harsh, accompanied by high-frequency tones. Now it's a much more bearable low-end bang, making it manageable even around it. And of course I know it provides clean air to my device to protect the pump!
