I like this set very much because it contains a lot of interesting things. Some things require soldering, and solder is included for practice, but solder isn't very good. I had to buy new solder which worked much better. The 8x8 LED matrix doesn't work properly and the manual isn't very helpful in explaining which terminals are + and which are -. For the LCD1602 device I had to solder on an I2C module. After that it doesn't work. I had one from another kit that worked great. I had to install updated modules for several components. The tutorial doesn't explain very well how modules work. In addition, there are many errors in the code - formatting errors in Python, syntax errors in Python and C, and logical problems due to which modules do not work. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it, but I would say don't rely solely on a tutorial to teach you how to use the parts. You must do your own research. Also, get a good quality soldering iron and good quality solder. Practice soldering before attempting to solder components that require it.
