We use this padding on a Miata for endurance racing. The pads withstand high temperatures and do not fade even when the paint and substrate are burnt. The front pad was worn out after 9 hours of a 12 hour ride on metal. Virtually no rotor wear, minimal dust. We'll look for a firmer rubber for longer races, but for medium races we'll stick with this one. The good thing about them is that they work in cold weather, so there are no surprises in the early laps or when changing drivers. . I'm not sure how they will work on a heavier car, but they're spot on for the Miata.
