Review on 🔩 Adjustable Stainless Fasteners for Ducting Clamps by Rick Everett

Hose clamp overview. Works perfectly, but the instructions in the pictures leave a lot to be desired. Here are a few key points: 🔹 There is a correct thread fit direction that MUST be placed in relation to the band or the screw will get stuck in the slot.? See attached photo. Note. I found that the correct direction was in the opposite curve of the roll of slit tape as it unwound. See attached photo of the tools I used. This makes it slightly easier to insert the slotted tape into the screw connection. 🔹 After inserting the bent slit strap into the threaded joint, I found it helpful to use pliers to firmly grasp the slit strap into the threaded joint BEFORE bending the slit strap straight again. Using pliers will only make the fit tighter/flatter. See attached photo. Finally I would suggest doing a test run by inserting the slotted bar into the threaded joint and turning the screw about 8 turns to make sure there is no binding before actually installing it. With these adjustments, I found this product to work pretty well. .
