Damn, this thing is PERFECT (except for one thing)
This is the PERFECT kettle, WITH A LITTLE DESIGN (for idiots like me). I thought it would do for a large french press. It's a little shorter. IMHO they need to increase the capacity so it can fill a 34oz press. Otherwise this item is perfect. Serious. Faster than a microwave, cork handles are cool (check out what I made there) and the design is classy. One button operation and you don't need a whistle to tell you it's simmering, it's almost impossible to mess up the controls. Good product. I wish I had had it a year ago.
