Definitely more indigo than purple. My recently (2 weeks ago) professionally colored purple hair had faded too coppery for my liking. I wanted a slightly cool purple, but still a definite purple. Received this to match the color while wearing it last night. It's so blue; almost purple. I may have used too much or left it on for too long (1 hour) but it's BLUE. A very dark and elegant blue though (I would upload a picture but can't capture the color accurately enough to use as a demo). I hope it turns out the cool rich purple of my dreams and lasts a long time too - my hair doesn't hold the color very well. I'll try to remember to update this when it goes away.
