The materials are nice and offer adequate padding, but the design is a bit off for me. The thin part of the keyboard sits right where I would rest my hand when typing, so there's not much support there. If you're looking for a gaming pad where you hold your right hand over the number pad I'd say this is for you, but for general office work there's not much mouse pad out there, on the other hand it works great and I've found it that it helps with wrist pain when I have to sit at the computer for hours.
