You can remove the ashtray and use propane gas or another method that you can put under the grate above. I boiled 2 cups of water in minutes! You can use a pot or small frying pan, make coffee, heat soup, chili pepper. When you're done with your Unigear wood stove, simply fold it back up and place it back in the pouch provided, slip it in your backpack like a notebook and you're good to go! GET ONE!
