I've been waiting for a portable Blu-ray player for a long time. I've been using the Naviskauto portable DVD player for over three years now and it still works great. When I found their Blu-ray version, I immediately latched onto it. Everything was great out of the box. Even the remote seemed to be of high quality (not one of those flimsy cheap ones that breaks after two days). Everything was well packaged and although mine claimed it didn't have an HDMI cable, it did, so I was thrilled. The first move I played was Star Wars (E. 4, A New Hope, Original). I plugged in a pair of $25 headphones (so nothing special) and relaxed, to enjoy it. The picture quality was amazing, sharp and clear. Colors were vibrant and details were crisp. Even fluent words at the beginning were easy to read. The sound was wonderful. I felt like I was in the theatre. The sound echoed from ear to ear and I heard everything clearly. I have inner ear hearing problems, but at level 5 the volume was ok. I haven't tested the battery yet, but I've never had a problem with my other player, so I assume this one will give me 3 hours as advertised. Before I bought this product I did some research on portable players and found a website (Tech Geek I think) that compared it to two other similar products. This was rated as the best performance and best value. I would say, that the brand has my loyalty and I will look for other products they have to offer. and I could hear everything clearly. I have problems hearing in my inner ear but at level 5 the volume was ok.
