Review on Vitamix 15856 Container 64 Oz by Brent Gurney

The shallow container that comes with the 5300 fits most of my uses, but I'm having trouble with fewer ingredients. I bought this container to use in recipes like nut butters and protein bars. A smaller base seems to work better with protein bar recipes. The large base that comes with the 5300 packs the protein bar mix under the blades, while the smaller container seems to reduce the amount of ingredients going under the blade and provides a better mix. This container is also better suited for ice cream in my opinion. I use the shorter container for everyday use because it seems sturdier and works well for cocktails.
