simple uncomplicated uncomplicated Coffee grinder

I use them to make spices. I love creating spice mixes for ethnic dishes or just creating my own spices and seasonings and I prefer to use fresher dry ingredients than pre-ground/chopped options and that was great. You don't want to put anything wet in it, ie. Don't use it to grind coriander or anything like that unless it's already dry but that's the only real thing to note and it's common with any coffee grinder like this so it's just a note, no knocking on the device. The machine will grind anything to the level you want, just squeeze a few more times for finer grains. It comes with a brush to brush as many beans as possible into the hopper. Then to clean it I just use a dry paper towel (never wet) and every now and then, or after I've made something stronger I'll take it to the shop and spray it out of the air compressor hose. to really remove the spice residue, but it's not really necessary, I'm just special. Overall, it cleans easily and effortlessly. My only complaint would be that I wish the tub was removable for easier handling and removing bottom material. Since this is a solid block, the only removable element is the lid. But the whole block is small enough that it doesn't really matter. However, if I made it exactly how I wanted it, it would have a removable tub. Also, the machine gets quite warm if you work on it for too long. Do not grind continuously for more than a few seconds, better use short pulses. The problem is that you can overheat the unit and some of the residue will stick to the tub and 'burn' easily, making cleaning difficult. There is a sticker on the device warning you not to let it run for too long, but you should be aware of this. Again, this isn't a problem for me, but some more powerful grinders can handle longer meals or be more automated for things like coffee grinding. But this suction cup is so small that you might want to look elsewhere if you plan to grind a lot of product. That's me for spices or maybe soil for a pot if you're using it for that purpose. Don't grind an entire bag at once.
