Very pleased with this belt punch. It was quite sharp and I could easily pierce the skin of a 10oz frenulum. I'm sure if I spend a few minutes on a thin whetstone I can get it razor sharp and it'll glide even easier over the skin. It had a greasy coating applied to prevent rust and had no rust at all. I think these punches cost extra money compared to Japanese punches. I'm usually a fan of Japanese tools, but I find them to be the best for punching the ends of belts. For English spot kicks, these Weaver kicks are worth the money because the cheaper ones are often asymmetrical. For round end punches like this, a cheaper one will do in a pinch, but I'd spend the money on a Weaver punch. High quality steel that can get very sharp. Cheap punches don't get very sharp no matter how you sharpen them. Highly recommended
