Review on πŸ₯” Aliglow Stainless Steel Potato Masher: Perfect Kitchen Tool for Mashing Potatoes, Fruits, and More! by Richard Cheng

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Competitive price and performance

This handle is comparable to other handles of this type: - Solid metal gives it strength - Simple design makes it easy to clean - No moving parts to break - Reasonable price My only complaint, i have a large hand and the handle is a little small for comfort: - small grip circumference: with prolonged use, my hand cramps from gripping such a small handle - smooth and straight: over a steaming potato, my hand becomes slippery due to the evaporation of Sweat and moisture from the potato, making it easier to slide and requiring a tighter grip. All in all: a respectable product. Personally, I prefer another brand, such as kitchen-aid, simply because of the larger handle shape; However, a plastic grip can break if it doesn't have a solid metal core (durability versus comfort). When cooking small portions (cooking for less than 4 people), this all-metal food pusher has proven reliable and efficient. When my whole family gets together and I have to mush up a big pot of potatoes (e.g. 8+ hungry mouths to feed themselves on Thanksgiving), I find that this griping/(sliding) difficulty complaint is little is to cope with . I don't cook enough potatoes to justify using a commercial pusher (usually double the price of these models); However, the commercial model has the same benefits as this masher but has a longer, taller wooden handle that keeps your hands away from the steam from the potatoes but still reaches the bottom of a deep pot instead of a large bowl.
