Don't waste your money! I read terrible reviews beforehand but they all seemed to be on a soap cutter (but I bought a soap cutter). I thought I would dare. What a waste of time. Initially I had hope because it was well packaged, came with extra cables, etc. That happiness was short-lived due to its design flaw. It has instructions for adjusting the height of the wire BUT you cannot turn the wing nut far enough to loosen the wire as it is too close to the acrylic. When trying to turn the wing nut, I bumped my thumb into the end of the wire that was "conveniently" right where the thumb goes. The only way to get this to work is to leave it in the setting it's on in, or change the wire to whatever setting you want. However, this defeats the point of buying an adjustable slab shear! I could just build my own if I don't need an adjustable feature! Absolutely funny!
