I've had this item for about a week now and luckily I took it camping the same week my A/C went out. The battery lasts 4-6 hours, depending on whether you use water cooling or not, the drop in temperature is noticeable. I slept with him about 6-8 inches from my face and while I was waiting for the air conditioner repair guy he helped me get some sleep, can't fault him.
