Works great in a small angle grinder
I have used this brush to remove rust from several items including a hoe. You'll need a small, high-speed angle grinder for this to work well. A wire brush requires high RPM (more or less than 11,000 RPM) to knock off rust. If you use a lower speed and try to push you will just snap or bend and warp the wires and not get much rust. The knotted design (actually twisted) makes the wires resistant to bending and breaking and gives them extra rigidity, which combined with the high speed makes this the most effective rust remover.
