Racks are relatively easy to assemble. Each part is individually labeled (stating the quantity required for that part) and encased in clear plastic. They are strong enough and stable enough for small speakers to meet the specified weight limit. The kit provides a variety of ways to mount the speaker to the stand, as well as the hardware required for each method. I chose this stand for my surround speakers because it matched the front speaker stands on my Sony Blueray home theater system and was about 20% cheaper. Care should be taken when attaching the vertical tube to the bottom of the stand as it is made of glass. If the supplied wrench is used for this purpose, the likelihood of glass breakage should be minimised. The only step that took a little longer than expected was routing the speaker wires through the center of the vertical tube mount. I had to spread the telescoping sections of the pipe to get the wires through each section.
