Sent these to my Sister who had pretty much zero lighting around her house, along with some 3M outdoor mounting tape as they didn't want to drill holes in their siding. Lights don't weigh much so went up easily with the tape and she sent some pics showing they work pretty good. Motion detection works really well from a good distance. Lights come on at highest brightness when they sense motion (per setting chosen), though they weren't quite as bright as I thought they would be. Still, they work just fine for her needs and now she has lights around the house without having to have had them wired. They lose power frequently in her area so as an added benefit of course, she'll have working security lighting even during power outages. Worth exploring if you need lighting.Side note: Past experiences with these types of lights on my own have shown that they typically last a couple of years (maybe a bit more) before the solar panels on them fog up from weather exposure. Sometimes they keep working a while even with this, but they may need to be replaced every 3-4 years max. They are not expensive, and if using the mounting tape, you can swap them out without damage to your house, so just keep this in mind.
