It's nice, thick and looks great
This hose is built to withstand heavy use. He's handsome, fat, and great-looking. The use looks much better than clear tubing and fits perfectly on all pump fittings. There is no fear that it will fall out. Passing water instead of air also means you don't have to worry about algae getting into the pipes. There is no reason not to recommend it. If you're looking for something brighter than clear tube, you might be wrong!
