I put my 7 1/2 foot tall pre-lit tree inside and there was plenty of room! Then I tried to drag him down the stairs to the attic. Damn hard! I had to wrap a string around it and go up to the attic and lug it out there because it's so damn big we can't both fit through the hole in the stairs. Even after dragging it up the stairs and hanging it by hinges and springs a few times, I finally brought it up to the attic and all is safe and sound. A little advice if you want to store it in the attic. Take the empty bag over there, pick everything up and put it in the bag! I'll do that next Christmas! This bag is so big that you won't want to pick it up even if you can when you load it full enough to fill it. But it worked great and I am very happy with this product!
